Dr. Bao Kham, Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Inquiry into Languages and Cultures, Hue University

Dr. Bao Kham is now the Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Inquiry into Languages and Cultures and a lecturer in English Language Teaching at the University of Foreign Languages & International Studies, Hue University. He used to be Rector of the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University. He got his Masters degree from the University of Sydney and his doctoral degree from La Trobe University, Australia. His main research focus is on teacher socialization, pre-service and in-service teacher education. He is an IT enthusiast who has had extensive experience in designing, developing & delivering blended teacher preparation courses and ELT materials and sourcebooks.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Vice-Rector at the University of Foreign Language Studies, The University of Danang

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Long V Nguyen is Vice-Rector at the University of Foreign Language Studies, The University of Danang – where he has worked as a lecturer since the late 90s. Recently, he has actively participated in various National Foreign Languages Project activities as a CALL specialist and VietCALL vice president. Long received his MA in TESOL Studies from the University of Queensland in 2005 and his PhD in Applied Linguistics (Specialized in Computer-Assisted Language Learning – CALL) at Massey University. Long has been at Microsoft MIE and PIL since 2012 and received several outstanding grants for his research contributions. He has published widely in educational technology and communication in foreign language learning and teaching, sociocultural perspectives in language education, digital literacy, collaborative learning, and language teacher education. Assoc. Prof. Pham Vu Phi Ho, Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of TESOL & Education, Van Lang University

Assoc. Prof. Pham Vu Phi Ho, Ph.D., Assoc. Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Van Lang University, Vietnam. He was the vice president of Ba Ria-Vung Tau University and the vice president and dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Van Hien University, Vietnam. Pham has published 64 research articles in both local and International Journals (ISI/Scopus-indexed), and 9 books and 3 course-books used for undergrad students at HCMC Open University, VN, and one course book was used for both the undergraduate and graduate level at Lourdes College, Higher Education Department, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. One coursebook was used to train postgraduate students (MA & PhD) in English Language Studies at Van Lang University and Tra Vinh University. He has international experience in teaching English at Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand; he worked as a Professor for Gyeongju University, South Korea, in 2014. He is the Vice President for Administrative Affairs of AsiaCALL and the managing editor of its Online Journal. He is now the Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of TESOL & Education. He is also an editor for the Asian Journal of Applied Linguistics (Scopus), and a peer reviewer for some international Journals indexed in ISI/Scopus, such as Computer Assisted Language Learning, Open Sage, and International Journal of Instruction… His main interests include CALL, Academic Writing, peer responses, translation, Teaching methodologies, and Technology-enhanced learning. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Vice-President of HUFLIT

Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu is currently Vice-President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT), and Chairman of STESOL, founded by the Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges. With training experience from more than 25 countries, his main expertise is building digital transformation competency and providing consultation services to higher education institutions and businesses across Vietnam. He won the Vietnam Technology Innovation Award in 2012 and was recognized as Vietnam Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Master Trainer in 2014. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong, MA, Vice-Director of Office of Cooperation and Development, VNU University of Languages and International Studies, deputy Director, VietTESOL Association Secretariat

Ms. Huong Nguyen is a leader in Information and Communications Technology in language teaching in Vietnam, a senior technology expert, and a teacher trainer at the VNU University of Languages and International Studies. She has joined various teacher training projects, including the blended teacher development project that is based on Vietnam’s Foreign Language Teacher Competencies Framework. Her research interests focus on teacher professional development, technology-enhanced learning, and blended learning.

Dr. Tran Tin Nghi, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, HUIT

Dr. Tran Tin Nghi is an experienced educator and researcher interested in second language acquisition and pedagogy. His work focuses on developing and implementing effective teaching methodologies, using corpus-based techniques in language teaching, AI in Education, and the role of literacy in second language learning. He has a strong record of scholarly publications in prestigious Scopus-indexed journals. His commitment to ongoing professional development is evident through his active involvement in leading organizations like VietTESOL, STESOL, and VietCALL. Khoa Anh Viet, Former Director of ICT Centre, University of Languages and International Studies, VNU Hanoi

Khoa Anh Viet holds an MA in TESOL Studies at the University of Queensland, Australia, and is a Ph.D. candidate in TESOL Studies at ULIS-VNU. He is currently the Director of the IT Centre, University of Languages and International Studies, VNU Hanoi. He has been involved in different activities in designing and teaching courses in ESL pedagogy, language proficiency and ICT in LT delivered in both face-to-face and online modes. He is a member of VietCall (an association for ICT experts in language education).

Pham Tien Hung, Director of the Testing and Evaluation Centre of Hanoi University

Mr. Hung Pham is an English instructor at the English for Specific Purposes Department and the Director of the Testing and Evaluation Centre of Hanoi University. With a Master’s degree in Educational Studies from KU Leuven in Belgium, he also serves as a teacher-trainer in ELT Materials Development and Evaluation within the HANU MTESOL programme. As an EdTech enthusiast, Hung has had noteworthy contributions to the design and implementation of impactful ICT training courses of HANU, benefiting hundreds of teachers in Hanoi and other provinces.

Dr Uyen Nu Thuy Nguyen, University of Foreign Language Studies, the University of Danang, Vietnam

Dr Uyen Nu Thuy Nguyen is a lecturer of English at University of Foreign Language Studies, the University of Danang, Vietnam. She obtained her Master’s degree in TESOL Studies from the University of Queensland, Australia and her Doctoral degree in Higher Education from University of Tasmania, Australia. Her doctoral thesis focused on online education, particularly teaching strategies in online courses. She has co-authored a book, a book chapter and published some articles in areas of blended and online learning in Scopus- and SSCI-indexed journals. Her major areas of interest include online teaching and learning, Computer-Assisted Language Learning, and English language teaching methodology.

Dr. Hoang Thi Ngoc Diem, Thai Nguyen University, Vietnam

Dr. Hoang Thi Ngoc Diem was a lecturer at Thai Nguyen University in Vietnam for nearly two decades before starting her current position as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Edith Cowan University in Australia. She earned a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue her master’s degree in Instructional Technology at Lehigh University (USA) in 2015. She completed her PhD in Education at Edith Cowan University (Australia) in 2021. Her extensive research experience is focused on technology-enhanced learning, mobile-assisted language learning, and digital competence. Diem has had several articles published in SSCI (Web of Science Core Collection) and Scopus-indexed Q1 journals. She has received several research grants, exploring diverse themes such as academic writing, project-based learning, online learning, digital citizenship, and the integration of media in language learning. Dr. Luong Thi Hien, Hanoi University of Education

Dr. Luong Thi Hien is the Deputy Head of the Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Philology at Hanoi University of Education. Specializing in sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, and Vietnamese teaching methodologies, she has contributed to the academic field through more than 30 scientific articles and over 50 educational reference books for primary Vietnamese and Literature education. Dr. Hien has served as an editor and member of numerous projects developing digital learning materials at all levels, building test banks to assess competency. Her notable works include the Vietnamese Language Textbook for Grade 1 (2020), Practical Vietnamese Textbook (2022), the digital learning app Consangtao APP (2023), and the series Learning Vietnamese for Vietnamese Children Abroad (2023).
