About the Speaker
Phil Hubbard, Ph.D., is Senior Lecturer Emeritus in the Stanford University Language Center, where he led the English for Foreign Students Program until his retirement. With over four decades of contributions to CALL, he has published extensively on language technology standards, teacher training, and AI-supported learning. His work has been recognized through multiple lifetime achievement awards within the CALL community.
